The vision of KVS is to provide quality education to the children of transferable Central Government employees and other eligible categories, while promoting excellence and nurturing the overall personality of students. KVS aims to develop young learners into confident, competent, responsible and socially conscious citizens who contribute positively to the nation.
Our Mission
The mission of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is to:
- Cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees, including Defence and Para-Military personnel, by providing a common programme of education.
- Develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.
- Provide quality education through a common curriculum and innovative teaching-learning practices.
- Promote excellence in school education and encourage students to develop their intellectual, creative, physical and emotional abilities.
- Develop values of discipline, integrity, tolerance, cooperation and respect for diversity.
- Encourage scientific temper, creativity and innovation among students.
- Provide opportunities for students to develop 21st-century skills and become responsible citizens of the country.
